Built in Dubai, ready to ride. A carbon gravel bike assembled by DXBVelo from parts we stock: a Journey carbon frame, Shimano GRX Di2 wireless 1x12 shifting, Light Bicycle WR35 carbon wheels and Continental Terra Speed tan-wall tyres. Fast enough for Al Qudra tarmac, tough enough for the desert tracks and Hatta gravel.
This is a one-off size S build in Glossy Metallic Silver with black decals. Every cable runs inside the frame and the one-piece cockpit, and the Light Bicycle carbon wheels and Continental tyres, cream sidewalls and black hubs finish the look.
Why this build works
- Wireless electronic shifting: Shimano GRX Di2 RX825 levers with the RX827 rear derailleur give fast, precise shifts with no cables to stretch or adjust. Charge the battery and ride.
- Huge gear range, one chainring: a 42T GRX crank paired with a 10–51T 12-speed cassette gives easy climbing gears and a fast top end, with no front derailleur and nothing to drop.
- Carbon wheels made for gravel: Light Bicycle WR35 rims are 35mm deep with a 25mm inner width, which shapes the 40mm tyres properly. The rims passed an in-house 100J impact test.
- Clean, integrated cockpit: the Light Bicycle Grvfest-20 is a one-piece carbon bar and stem with a 20° flare for control on rough ground. It has internal routing and a carbon out-front computer mount.
- Room to grow: the frame clears tyres up to 700x50C and has bottle, cargo and bikepacking mounts, so it will take bags for touring and bikepacking.
